A golden September afternoon, the grand barn doors as a backdrop, and a love story worth celebrating — Brody and Kimber's wedding was everything a North Texas fall wedding should be.
There's something about early September in North Texas, the light turns golden, the air starts to hint at something cooler, and the countryside around Gunter takes on a warmth that's hard to put into words. That was the setting Brody and Kimber chose for their wedding day on September 9, 2023, and it couldn't have been more fitting.

A ceremony framed by the barn
Brody and Kimber made a choice that more and more couples are discovering at Bella Terra Venue, they held their ceremony right in front of the venue's iconic barn doors. It's a setting that gives you the full rustic grandeur of the barn as a backdrop while keeping you outdoors under the open Texas sky. Officiant Preston Callaway led the ceremony, and by all accounts, there wasn't a dry eye in the crowd.
The barn doors create a natural frame that photographs beautifully at any time of day, but on a fall afternoon with that warm September light filtering through, it's something else entirely. Photographer Laurel Glatch of Life Frames by Laurel captured every moment, and her work tells the story of the day better than any words could.

"Absolutely loved this venue! It was so gorgeous and we loved everything about it. They made the process very easy and helped so much in any way we asked. 10 out of 10 recommend this place!!! It is a beautiful venue and the views are amazing!" — Brody M., married at Bella Terra September 2023
Cocktail hour & celebration

After the ceremony, guests moved into cocktail hour catered by On the Border, mingling on the covered porch with drinks courtesy of bartender Brysann Vaughn. It's the kind of relaxed, golden-hour stretch between ceremony and reception that guests always remember — cold drinks, good conversation, and the Bella Terra property all around them.
Dinner was handled by Spartan Cuisine, whose food kept guests talking long after the last bite. One of the things Brody and Kimber took full advantage of was Bella Terra's open vendor policy — the freedom to bring in exactly the food and service they wanted, without being locked into a venue-mandated caterer. The result was a reception that felt completely personal.

A day worth remembering
Brody and Kimber's wedding is a perfect example of what Bella Terra was built for — a setting that gets out of the way and lets the couple's day be exactly what they envisioned. No cookie-cutter packages, no restrictions on who you bring in, just 40 acres of North Texas countryside and a venue that takes care of everything around the edges so you can focus on what matters.
If you're dreaming of a fall wedding near Dallas — or any season — we'd love to show you the space in person.
